If you take a walk in Japan guess you will find an ice cream shop, you cannot missunderstand because they are clearly recognizable. Once inside you will find every kind of ice cream flavour, strawberry, chokolate, azuki beans, and behind all tastes you cannot miss the maccha one.
This is the most tipic ice ceam taste in Japan but be carefoul, is not really sugary as you may think, it a little bitter instead. As you drink it without any sugar like in Italy we have water, the same, when is made into ice cream, sugar is not added.
